Reflections
Throughout this experience, we have had a chance to learn more about the health education topic of eating disorders. This has allowed us to add onto our previous knowledge about the topic. For the project, we found it challenging to navigate and learn how to use the Weebly website, it became an obstacle as we used much of the designated class time to understand the workings of the website rather than add our information to it. Looking back, it is a useful skill to have acquired, but in the process, it was slightly frustrating. It will be beneficial throughout our careers as teachers to know how to create a website for parents and students. If it was possible to have a designated amount of time just to explore the features of the Weebly program, it would have been time well spent. The teacher section was our favorite section to create and hopefully utilize. It allowed us to get into the mindset of a teacher and think about it from a different perspective. This project was relatively large and posed a challenge for the amount of time given to complete it. Throughout the process, we were glad to have a partner to aid in the completion.
